This ain’t your gramma’s embroidery…
I don’t think many of you know this about me but I LOVE to stitch, embroider, create, sew, quilt, paint…I could keep going but I won’t. I love to make things with my hands. Things for people to have and love and admire and know that I made it special for them. Just add another level to whatever awesome I’m at in your head. ;] I am totally infatuated with this little company, Sublime Stitching, I found them on bloggerdise and begged for a review/giveaway and they sent me the La Petite Kit with Zombies and Monsters which retails for $20.00. For your $20 you get a pattern that you can copy and transfer and enlarge or shrink to your hearts desire (there are 50+ patterns), a 4″ wood embroidery hoop, 1 embroidery needle, silver embroidery scissors, complete how to and four colors of floss. I love the little kit, in all honesty I haven’t had time since I got it to stitch anything but it is sitting on my nightstand so I can stare lovingly at it. The problem is I need a couple black shirts for Nathaniel (and Daddy wants one too) and you have to special order those but as soon as I get them done you can bet Mami will be sharing with you! Everything you need to make several projects is in your kit. Here’s my pattern

There are SO many patterns on the site, I can’t put them all here but even if you have never embroidered in your life I know these tempt you. It’s an easy hobby to pick up, you can make beautiful stuff and it’s pretty cheap. A basic skein of floss is .29 cents and the pattern price at Sublime Stitching? FIVE DOLLARS! That’s it! Five bucks and you can reuse and reuse and reuse if you use transfer paper and make copies. CRAZY!
