Down a pound this week! Woo hoo! Y’all…I am so emotionally exhausted this week! Nate has been throwing tantrums left and right and misbehaving, there was a moment I was in the kitchen bawling my eyes out. This has been an emotional up and down month for me which is quite unusual so I am sure that month two of my Nutrisystem posts will be much more upbeat!
I got another shipment of food yesterday while we were in North Carolina trying desperately to bond as a family so Nate would calm down. For those who only pop in for NSNation posts…he was out of town the first two weeks of the month and my son is 2.5 and has been having a hard time with it and we thought a family bonding day was in order.
(enjoy a couple pictures!)
We did eat out but I ordered a soup and salad after consulting the nutritional information online. That will happen but just because we were eating out didn’t mean I needed to get a giant plate of fries and chicken fingers or some fat laden meal. Even my husband has started making changes and paying attention to food, he got a veggie skewar instead of mashed potatoes or something like that when we ate last night. I think it’s safe to say our minds are in a new healthier place! It is helping our relationship to be doing some of this together, it brings you closer to someone when you are able to work together to figure out the best plan of attack. Makes me all smiley!
We are going to the beach next weekend and I will be packing my Nutrisystem, more on that next week! This week I am feeling good about where things are going, can’t wait to try the new food I picked out and love all the support and advise I get from the online community at Nutrisystem. If you want support, good food and a way to not have to think as much about what to eat Nutrisystem is for you!!

Sorry to hear about your little man’s tantrums. I heard somewhere that kids have cyclical behavior where they adjust to develpmental changes, for some its at the year mark and for some it’s at the half year mark. I distinctly remember saying the two’s had started around 20 months, so my kids tended to be half-year’ers if you will. Maybe you are getting double whammy with the stress at home and his own “developmental stress”

Hopefully things will calm down now that Chris is back. I am proud of you guys for making better choices when eating out. I will not tell you what I ate at Red Robin last night.
