It is so secret that I have been becoming an exercise connoisseur which I find comparable to my beer connoisseur husband, trying different workouts, different products and brands trying to find the best equipment and strategies for myself. I stumbled upon Aurorae Yoga and asked if they would like to work together. This yoga company was started by Dennis Ingui (CEO/Founder, Aurorae) a cancer survivor of over ten years after a discovered joy of yoga. I do yoga a few times a week and can relate to the fact that it is addicting and will make you feel centered /whole afterwards. A company that carries all of the things you could need to practice! Straps, different mats and mat wash are just a few of the items you can find at Aurorae.

I was able to review a Aurorae Classic Yoga Mat in Seamist, this mat retails for $49.95 but as of this writing can be found on sale for $34.95. This mat is great, it’s much lighter then my other mat so it would be easy to tote to a class. It also has the texture of cabinet liner, the rubber kind, this material lets your hands and feet sink in and hold firm. The mat is 72″ x 24″ x 1/4″ with what Aurorae calls a focal point icon, it’s a person in the downward dog position. A focal point gives you something to focus on, for those who have been in labor before it’s like when you pick a spot in the room to focus on while pushing. It helps calm you down and enable you to do what you are trying to do. I have a few dots on my walls that I focus on during more intense periods of p90x and I really think it helps me. The Classic Mat is available in several colors so you can coordinate to your other things.
I am very pleased with my Aurorae Classic Yoga Mat and know that it will last me for quite awhile. I enjoy using it to do my yoga poses and to provide a little cushion for plyometric workouts. No matter if you are just starting your hand at yoga or are a seasoned pro these mats are for you!
Aurorae offers yoga mats in illuminating colors, a focal point icon and extra long in length. Aurorae offers the best reviewed yoga mats, accessories & props online. You can browse their yoga mats, yoga bags, yoga accessories and yoga props here.
