Y’all, I have not shared much about Mr Babe lately! He is just wonderful as always but I just haven’t been sharing in his development. I will be real with you, he doesn’t have as many obvious milestones anymore. He can walk, he can talk and he can feed himself and has been for awhile and those are most of the big ones.
He’s a little sponge, always has been and is still way too smart for his own good.
He’s 99% potty trained. Outside of on purpose accidents he is done with it.
He’s a teacher, he’s been trying to help his cousin learn a few things and it is the sweetest thing. I’m going to share about that in a seperate post next week because I need to get some pictures of them together where Nate isn’t naked.
He’s still a little actor and comedian. He has been asking to help review and ‘make songs’ which means record videos so you may be seeing some of that in the future.
He’s 32.4 pounds and 36.5″ tall. He may have started out large and in charge but he’s leveled off now.
He connects all kinds of ideas and remembers so many things. That truck I promised him a few months ago? It gets brought up every day. The pump I got put in the car in February? Still shares it with anyone who will listen.
He can completely dress himself but chooses not too.

He throws insane tantrums that I have to laugh at MOST of the time because they are so hysterical and there is no need for him to be angry.
And lastly, he says things like this…
looking at his penis in shock (because it was excited)
Babe: Momma! My doodle is BIG!! Why is it big momma?
Me: Well, sometimes doodles (that is what he likes to call it, he knows the real name) get big and sometimes they get small.
after it had gone back down
B: Momma, it's little again and has rings!
I’m dancing around while picking up stuff because that is what I do.
B: Momma I’m eating.
M: I know Babes, that’s great!
B: Momma, no dancing when I eating.
M: oh. well. ok.

Nate looking at his empty plate after eating all of his dinner.
B: Momma! All my food is gone and it’s in my belly!
then he made the saddest face ever
I was sitting on the couch whining about needing a massage & a chiro because my back hurts. He came up and massaged my boob and said:
Is that better momma? Feel better?

Nate was riding his bike…
“Momma, come sit on my bike”
Momma is too big for your bike.
“Oh. Well, you will fit one day momma!”
Umm..thanks?

I had finished working out and was getting in the shower:
“Oh goodness. Oh geez. Oh my goodness momma, oh my goodness!”
What is Babes?
“You. Are. Very. Naked”
and?
“oh my goodness Momma. I see your gyna!!”
(I’m still confused about this because he sees me naked all the time and points out my chest and vagina. ALL the time. Like in public bathrooms or the grocery store. Or my house. Or my sisters. Or the post office.)
There are so many more but I will leave you with those haha. Kids are such NUTS!! More updates on the ever ridiculous Nathaniel, next month!

He’s absolutely adorable! I love his smile and the things he says. Reminds me a bit of Ezra.

They are observant, aren’t they? I love to hear the honest, crazy things little ones say.

He’s at such a fun age… I LOVE the no-filter when they are still young enough for it to be cute!
