Ch-ch-changes

I got news a few days ago that we are moving to New York!  It’s a big change, neither of us have ever lived in that area of the states and I’ve lived here in South Carolina for almost ten years so it’s a bit of an adjustment but we are excited about the potential for our family.

My husband, Chris, has been offered a job near Albany and we will be moving sometime next month.  I should have a ‘real’ date soon but I know he has to come back to his SC store for a few weeks.  The job is still with the same company but a different location.  He hasn’t been getting the growth and guidance needed to progress to the next level and we are hoping that he will get that with this new move.  There is also a raise and bonus involved which is nice.

If you’ve been reading for awhile then you know that we both moved her to be closer to family, sisters specifically.  Since then Chris’ sister has moved out of state and my sister is going through a divorce and will be moving back to our home of Iowa in August.  All else that has kept us here is the job and the job is moving him.  Of course, I’d be a lot happier if we were moving to Iowa too but this is going to be an amazing learning opportunity for him and make him an ideal candidate when there is a store in Iowa to move too.

It’s a big change but we are up for the challenge!
