Or a monster, a big boy, a baby, a kitty or whatever Nathaniel’s imagination has decided to be for the day. I figured with our schedule in full swing I would share how my day goes.
My day starts around 6:30, I get up when everyone else is usually sleeping to go for a walk. Even though I’m missing out on sleep, I really enjoy the time for me with my music and sweating. I’m almost better to lift and that will mean getting up at 6 so I can lift and walk before Nate gets up around 8-8:30. I pour myself a glass of this green stuff (and now I am testing different smoothie recipes) and down a handful of vitamins.
When I get back from my walk it’s time for breakfast. Breakfast for me and Nate and usually Chris too and then we watch some Fireman Sam and get ready to go to the park and storytime or park and fountain or pool or a walk with Momma or some combination of them.
Back home at 12 for lunch and Daddy is usually getting ready to go to work. Time for Caillou and winding down before naptime while I try to get as much cleaning done as I can. Or read a book. Whatever strikes my fancy.
1:30 means last call at the juice bar, find your blankey and go pee because it’s naptime! I shower if I didn’t shower in the morning (usually I wait because we go to the park and I’m sweaty all over again) and eat lunch while I read/write blogs and watch, well more listen, to SVU and at 3 naptime is already over and it’s back to Nate’s whims!
Nate grabs a snack and we head outside if it isn’t too hot. He either plays with the annoying neighbor kids who beg for popsicles or we drive Buzz around the complex.
5-5:30 means it’s dinner time for Nate and cleaning time for Mom. Nate usually watches the Simpsons or Caillou again while I’m cleaning up.
6-7:45 is what I like to call ‘low key time’, paining, crafting, baking or movie watching. We also read or draw or do hooked on phonics, it really just depends what Nate wants to do. If Chris is closing I usually try to do some dinner prep while letting Nate help.
7:45-8 is clean up time, 15 minutes to clean as fast as we can before bathtime.
8-8:30 is bathtime, picking out pjs, reading a story and giving kisses. I always tell him if I had an great day with him and that I hope to have another tomorrow. Tight hugs and kisses and more hugs and more kisses and fingers crossed he only gets up once to pee.
I finish out the day making dinner, reading, finishing blog stuff or reading blogs. Whatever I feel like doing between Nate going to bed and me going to bed. Then I get to do it all over again!

Ok girlfriend I got tired reading all of that. Of course I am not up to par right now and walking to get coffee is draining me. Nate is such a doll baby. I love your pics of him. Ok what is in the smoothies?

I’m with Angel. I was just thinking, “Man, I need a nap now.” Could also be that its approaching midnight lol
) I just cant’ get into the groove of working out in the morning. Maybe its just habit. For years the only time I’ve had for working out has been sometime between 5 and 9pm depending on the day.
I’ve read that working out in the morning is much better for you. For some reason even though I am very much a morning person (I napped a lot today. That’s why I’m still up
Now that my schedule has changed, I may give this morning stuff a try!

I really need to get back into getting up before Nick goes to work and going to the gym. I had so much more energy when I used to do that.
Nate is adorable as usual
