Bare Elephant {Review & Giveaway}

You guys know I love reduce, reuse and recycle and I have found another wonderful company doing just that!  Bare Elephant is a company in Lousville, KY that wanted to use that motto also by taking wine bottles that were donated and turning them into fantastic creations!  Pendant lights, chandeliers and soy candles among other things!

After contacting Bare Elephant to review they were delighted to let me pick a few scents to try out.  I decided to branch out a bit from the scents I usually love and went with Blackberry Sage and Creme Brulee, the 16 oz candles retail for $24.00 and the 8 oz for $14.00.  Since the candles are soy, they burn longer and cleaner then normal wax candles which, I love.  The Blackberry Sage is described as ‘sweet blackberries with a hint of earthy goodness’ and I agree, there is something familiar yet unique about this scent.  I’ve been burning it in my living room and it quickly fills the air with a delicious scent that you can almost reach out and touch.  It’s not overpowering but it’s strong which I enjoy, I don’t buy candles so that I can barely smell them.  And, the Creme Brulee isn’t listed on the site but I would describe it as vanilla and caramely with something sweet.  I burn it in my bedroom because vanilla-ish scents are on my ‘sexy scents’ even though it’s like a cookie…I am a baker after all!  Each candle is handpoured and cut in a recycled wine glass which makes them vary and look different from each other.

Bare Elephant is my new go to for gifts and myself, affordable, recycled and a hands on company…just the type of company I love to support!!

As if you aren’t convinced enough of the amazing that is Bare Elephant, one of you will get to pick out your very own and try it out!  Enter via the rafflecopter form below.
