I am so over summer and ready for cooler weather! I do love summer heat, usually, but since we have to stay inside when it’s very hot outside, I’m pretty over it.
Nate loves to go to the park, play in the fountain and run around with other kids and I love wearing him out but lately we haven’t been able to because it’s so hot.
I can’t go walking because when it’s too hot, I get naseous.
We stay stuck in the house playing cars, painting and watching cartoons but he’s starting to get sad about it and it makes me guilty. Today he told me his bear was sad because it had been a few days since they went to the park and he can’t play with kids. I promised that I would wake up extra early to take him to the park tomorrow before my OB appointment, I don’t think any kids will be there that early but I’m going to try!
Can not wait for cooler temps, cardigans, walking, pumpkin smells, being outside more and apple picking! We are an early summer and fall family, we are not a late summer family!!

I know what you mean about not being able to go outside because it’s too hot and you don’t feel good. That’s the story of my life :/ I told the boys that when I’m cancer free and I feel like ME again that we have so much time to make up for with going to the park and playing outside and all that. I don’t know who is more excited-them or me!! =D

Im not one to often wish away time but I am excited for fall. It has been so hot evening waiting until after dark or before sunrise to get out and run hasn’t been all that successful. It’s just too deng hot!!

NO! No! No! Fall means I have to go back to work and I like being home. Summer can last forever, even if it means we are stuck inside because it’s 110 degrees!

I totally agree with you, when it gets too hot during the summer, it’s no fun.
We are fortunate enough to live close to coast so it doesn’t get too hot out here and our great summer weather stays with us throughout most of the year. I live in Southern California.

I don’t know how you all in the rest of the country are dealing with it. It was a gorgeous 80 here yesterday, but today I’m not sure it made 70 and I’m sitting on the couch with a blanket!
