  1. My grandmother was diagnosed with breast cancer when I was 8, she had a mastectomy, did chemo and was in remission for 8 years. When I was 16 it came back. I remember I was in school and worked at McDonalds. The last time she left the house on her own was to see me go to prom. After work I would go to my grandparents house and help take care of grandma, rubbing lotion on her, bullying her into eating, whatever. She was a hell of a woman and I still get tears in my eyes writing this and it has been 20 years.
Last year I also lost a friend to breast cancer. She was 39 and she died the same age her mother did from the same horrid disease. She left behind a husband and two boys under 8.

  2. My aunt has breast cancer. She had chemo, radiation and eventually a masectomy. Cancer is just a horrible disease no matter what kind it is. I am fighting melanoma right now and it straight up sucks!

Squeeze your boobies, do your monthly skin checks and get any tests possible to try to detect any cancer as early as possible people!!

    xoxo
