I’m sure everyone is posting or will be posting pumpkin pictures and Halloween pictures and I’m not going to be any different!
It started out with Nate being SO excited about carving pumpkins and me dreading having to stick my hand in a pumpkin. My Dad always gutted our pumpkins and Chris has always gutted Nathaniel’s, it’s how I like things. So, when I tried to get Nate to help me, I got this face…
So, I ended up having to do it all on my own and we ended up with super cute pumpkins. I have decided that unless I am working on my own pumpkin or my children are old enough to use those patterns themselves, they will just draw a face on or tell me ‘triangle or circle eyes’. The left pumpkin took FOREVER and I had to hear ‘are you done yet?’ at least 246 times and the second took five minutes and I let Nate help me shove a big knife in the pumpkin.
Tonight, we trick or treat! Look for those pictures in the next few days I’m sure!
Oh I hear ya the patterns sometimes are mind blowing and irritating. Your pumpkins are too cute but not as cute as their artist..

Always fun carving pumpkins. I haven’t done it in years. I haven’t had the time or inclination, but I’m sure that will change eventually
