Two Idiots Fell in Love

Our 3rd wedding anniversary was November 30th, which, I did not forget but we were super busy with the packing, moving, pregnant lady, wrapping up our South Carolina life and I just could not get it together to write a post for my husband.  Somehow, he found the time to write one for me!  He can stay up later then I can right now haha.  Then we had our four year together anniversary on December 5th which, we both forgot until that afternoon.

And so, I owe Mr Martinez an anniversary post…though, after a few years of writing these posts for one another, I will probably keep it short.  In case you don’t know ‘our story’, we met May 25th 2008, got pregnant October 4th (5th technically since it was like 3am) 2008, made our relationship exclusive December 5th 2008, had a baby August 2nd 2009, got married November 30th 2009 and then celebrated our first year together the following week on December 5th 2009.  Fast and backwards works for us.

My husband drops a lot of fbombs and I have been known to correct him like a child when he does it but he’s mine and doesn’t mind that I sign heavily when he does it.

He’s my best friend, my other half and I love that we are able to communicate with looks and don’t have to speak in full sentences.  I know most couples are like that but we were this way starting almost immediately.  We talk about being Grandparents, our future house, we plan together and have made it through a lot of difficulties together and I’m sure there are many more ahead in our next 80 years together.  Chris makes me a better person just by being around and his support of me and my decisions never wavers.  If you don’t know how stupid in love we are with each other then you have not been reading long!

This year together was amazing and I know without a doubt that next year will be even better!  Happy Belated Anniversary to my Husband!!
