This Momma is still pregnant! At least as of 8pm Thursday night I am still pregnant, I’m sure I am by the time this is posting as well. I didn’t realize until a few days ago that Nate’s birthday, 8/2 and Abby’s due date 2/8 were the reverse of each other. Perhaps that is what she’s been waiting on? Now before you say ‘but this is just now the end!’, I’ve been contracting all week. Not braxton hicks, not occasional bouts of contractions, semi consistent but not long enough or close enough to regulate contractions. The real deal. A lot. So pardon me if I’m a little over it already.
40 weeks with Abby on the left and 40 weeks with Nate on the right…
Weight Gain: +11 pounds, I’ve gained over THREE POUNDS this week!! I’ve been sort of bloated and not pooping so, yeah, my guess is that’s what is happening. I do appreciate Abigail waiting until the last week of pregnancy for me to develop an inability to poop though.
Sleep: Ever since Sunday, the entire day of contractions at least every 20 minutes when they weren’t every 8 or 3, I have been going to bed kind of early in anticipation of labor. It’s meant I’m OUT because my body is tired from the labor pains.
Best moment this week? Wednesday, the whole day, was great!
Movement? She’s still very active

Belly button in or out? Still in.
What I miss? Not carrying a bowling ball in my belly.
What I’m nervous about? Not going into full blown labor on my own, having to be induced and having another cesarean.
What I’m looking forward to? Holding Abigail!!
Also, we have a baby pool going on, cash and prizes to the winner! Info you may need, Nate was born at 42.5 weeks, 9lbs 2oz, 20.25″. He is blonde with hazel eyes.
Oh man – she is just waiting for the right moment to make her grand entrance…..
